Our Vision

Our Vision: We recognize that eutrophication is one of the biggest environmental threats against biodiversity. Our vision is a world free of eutrophication and the toxins that come with it, not just for mankind, but for the millions of animals that are harmed by this phenomenon each and every year.

Our team was almost entirely born and raised in rural North Carolina. With agriculture as a major focus of our lives, alongside it came the ever-present threat of algae on our local bodies of water. One of our team member's grandparents had a pond near his house, and over the years it progressively grew more and more contaminated by a severe algal bloom. This killed off the fish population of the water, and took with it the fond family memories spending time around grandpa's pond. We saw firsthand the legitimacy of this problem, but we were taken back when we saw the current limitations of the algae treatment industry. There weren't any options available to these rural regions that could effectively treat the water without the use of chemicals. We wanted an efficient way to treat these blooms that could do so early, completely, and without the need of regular human intervention. Our goal is to provide all aquatic ecosystems with an accurate and affordable way to treat algae, not just for the world that we know today, but so our future generations can see their smiling reflections on the surface of the water.
